- Clear any outstanding balance:

- Raise a closure request:
- Open the Paytm app and log in.
- Tap on the Menu (☰) icon at the top left corner.
- Go to “24×7 Help” and then “Profile Settings.”
- Select “I need to close/delete my account.”
- Choose “I don’t use this Paytm account” as the reason.
- Click “Message Us” to initiate the closure request.
- Paytm will verify your request and process the closure within about 48 hours.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email when it’s done.
If you only want to deactivate Paytm Postpaid service, but keep your Paytm account active:
- Clear any outstanding balance: (Same as above)
- Deactivate through the app:
- Open the Paytm app and log in.
- Go to the “Paytm Postpaid” section (usually under “My Payments” or “My Money”).

- Tap on it and confirm your request.
- Your Postpaid limit will be deactivated within 8 days of the next month.
